Stonebwoy celebrates Widows in Kasoa on Mother’s Day

Stonebwoy brought smiles and solace to widows in Kasoa on Mother’s Day, as he extended a hand of support to those who may be facing challenges or hardships.

On Sunday, May 12th, The Livingstone Foundation (TLF), the charity arm of Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group (BMG), hosted some widows in a ceremony held at Space 86 Lounge in Kasoa to highlighting the importance of inclusivity and support, particularly for those who may feel overlooked on the special day dedicated to all women.

During the occasion, Stonebwoy took the opportunity to present the widows with care packages filled with essential items and comforting treats, ensuring they had access to necessities and a moment of indulgence. Additionally, he provided financial assistance to those in need to help address their immediate concerns and offer support in times of difficulty.

Speaking at the event, Stonebwoy emphasised the importance of celebrating and supporting widows on Mother’s Day, saying, “Today, as we celebrate Mother’s Day, let us not forget the strength and resilience of widows in our community. They are the unsung heroes, the silent warriors. It is our duty to uplift and support them in any way we can. Through The Livingstone Foundation, we aim to spread love and compassion, not just today, but every day. Let us continue to stand together, shoulder to shoulder, and make a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most.”

The widows who benefited from Stonebwoy’s generosity were overjoyed and grateful for the kind gesture. Many of them expressed their gratitude to Stonebwoy and his team for remembering them on such a special day.

Stonebwoy’s commitment to philanthropy continues to uplift spirits and make a meaningful difference in the lives of many, reaffirming his status not only as a talented musician but also as a compassionate humanitarian dedicated to making the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time. Over the years, He has donated time, money, and resources to charitable causes through his foundation. He has been actively involved in other initiatives, notably the BHIM Workshop, where participants receive training in various areas such as small-scale farming activities, entrepreneurial development, food and agro-processing, and fashion production. Last year, he commissioned four mechanized bore projects in four deprived communities in the Western Region.
