Stonebwoy lands another brand ambassador deal
Ghanaian reggae, dancehall and afropop artiste Stonebwoy has signed a brand ambassador deal with Ghanaian multinational beverage corporation Twellium Industrial Company.
The news was made public on Sunday (November 12) when videos from the exclusive signing was published online. This comes following Stonebwoy’s stellar run this year, marked by the release of the well-received album ‘’5th Dimension”, numerous sold-out tours across Europe, the UK, North America, and Canada, as well as recognitions from GRAMMYS and Billboard.
While specific details of the deal are yet to be disclosed, the 2015 BET award-winning artiste, now the face of Twellium Industrial Company’s ‘’Bigoo” range of drinks, is expected to leverage his enviable global popularity to enhance the company and brand’s awareness, as well as increase sales through upcoming commercial campaigns and activations. The deal underscores the Twellium Industrial Company’s commitment to the rapidly growing Ghanaian and African market.
Stonebwoy’s recent ambassadorial agreement is the latest addition to his growing portfolio of partnerships and endorsements, boasting associations with Chinese mobile phone manufacturing company Tecno Mobile, energy drinking producing company Big Boss, transport & ride-hailing app Yango, rice producing company Lilo, cryptocurrency company Yellow Card, and, most recently beauty and cosmetic firm GC Brand (Ghandour Cosmetics), announced about three months ago.
Bigoo is a soft drink line developed, bottled, and distributed in Ghana by Twellium Industrial Ghana, introduced to the Ghanaian market in 2019. The Bigoo Drink offers a variety of flavors such as Cocktail, Apple, Coconut, Cola, Lemon Lime, Strawberry, Tamarind, Grape, and Orange, providing consumers with great taste and superior value.
A leading name in African music circles, Stonebwoy is credited with pioneering and powering the Afro-dancehall music genre into a globally accepted cultural phenom. The artist is gearing up for his highly anticipated BHIM Festival at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, December 22, 2023. Prior to that, he is set to travel to London to perform as a special guest at the Royal Albert Hall for multi-GRAMMY award-winning singer Angelique Kidjo’s 40th career anniversary on November 17th.
