Stonebwoy to headline Afronation Festival in Ghana this December

Afronation is returning to Ghana this December, and this week, the festival ogranizers announced the full 2022 lineup.

Ghanaian-based musician and world rated touring juggernaut Livingstone Etse Satekla (officially billed as Stonebwoy), tops the bill as the festival’s headliner, alongside Nigeria afrobeats crooner, Davido; American hip hop artiste, Meek Mill; critically acclaimed music duo, P-Square. This year’s event is scheduled for Marine Drive, Black Star Square on 29th & 30th December 2022.

With a career that transcends language, geography and demographics, Stonebwoy is rated as the best reggae and dancehall artiste from Africa and he is widely recognized for pioneering and elevating Afrodancehall music into a global cultural and musical phenomenon, which has fueled an explosion in popularity for African reggae and dancehall scene.

Founded to unite the diaspora in celebration of Black Joy, the event is back for a celebratory trip of Black culture, vibing music, dance, good food, and so much more. Afronation Festival will include additional sets by an impressive lineup of today’s hottest names, including Dadju, CKay, Adekunle Gold, Black Sherif, and Ghana’s brightest new stars Kuami Eugene, KiDi, Gyakie, and Camidoh have been confirmed for this year’s festival.

The Afrobeats explosion continues to grow, uniting the diaspora on culturally significant sites across three continents, with Afro Nation at the center of it all. Afro Nation Ghana follows this summer’s hugely successful Portugal Beach Festival and the first US show in Puerto Rico in March, that hosted Stonebwoy as the headliner.
